Here are a few key dates to mark on your calendar.  Check back for other events.

  • We have expanded our Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program in 2009 by adding new pick up sites in Avalon, Cranberry, Franklin Park, Point Breeze, Sewickley and Mt. Lebanon areas.
  • May 20, 2010 is the CSA registration deadline for the 2010 growing season.
  • The CSA Program begins the first week of June to the last week of October, for a total of 22 weeks.
  • Every May we have farm tours which allows us to meet and for you to see how your fruits and vegetables are grown. The tour will be approximately two hours long. We will tour the CSA room, the packing facilities and our high tunnels. This is a walking tour and you will really enjoy the view. We will have children's activities and animals to visit. If you are interested, please let us know and we will make reservations for you.
  • Come visit our farm during the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) Buy Fresh Buy Local Summer Farm Tour, scheduled for July. There will be a walking tour through our fields, fresh flowers and fresh herbs to pick and tomato tasting. Come visit our Community Supported Agriculture(CSA) room and our farm market. More information will be posted for the 2010 tour.
  • Fresh organic chickens and organic eggs from the Misera Farm in Butler County are available throughout the summer at our farm and during your regular CSA pick up day at your chosen site. Whole chickens average 6 pounds in weight and are sold by the pound. The price and weight will be posted on each chicken.
  • We continue to promote the premium beef products from McElhaney Family Farm in Hookstown, PA.  They have committed to attending our CSA program at our farm in Gibsonia. They visit our farm on Sandy Hill Road during the summer and once in January or February with their premium aged beef. You can stop at our farm during their visit to purchase individual pieces or packages of beef, or contact Kay McElhaney to place an order. The McElhaney farm’s email is mc3familyfarm@verizon.net.

  • The Farm Market is open daily June through October from 10am to 6 pm on Sandy Hill Road at the barn!
