Our Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program has been expanded in 2012 by adding new pick up sites in Bridgeville, Emsworth and Glenshaw.
We are pleased to continue "Jane's Specials". This is an exclusive offer for our CSA members that give you the option of adding items to your weekly share. Additional items available are organic brown eggs, organic roasting chickens, Amish baked goods, Cooper's Mills jams, Byler's Relish House pickled items and extra fruits and vegetables throughout the season. Delivery of these items will coinside with your regular CSA pick up.
The 2012 CSA Program will run the first week of June, until the last full week of October for a total of 22 weeks.
Farm Tours for 2012 are being scheduled for May. These tours allow us to meet, and for you to see how your fruits and vegetables are grown. The tour will be approximately two hours long. We will tour the CSA room, the packing facilities and our high tunnels. This is a walking tour and you will really enjoy the view. We will have children's activities and animals to visit.
Fresh organic chickens and organic eggs from the Misera Farm in Butler County are available over the summer at our farm and through "Jane's Specials". Whole chickens average 6 pounds in weight and are sold individually.
The McElhaney Family Farm will offer their premium aged beef for purchase at the Dillner Family Farm throughout the season (June through October). You can place an order by contacting Kay McElhaney via phone 724-544-2391 or by email at mc3familyfarm@verizon.net. Orders can also be made for individual items. When you place an order, you may pick it up here at the Dillner Farm in Gibsonia.
The Farm Market is open daily June through October from 10 am to 6 pm on Sandy Hill Road at the barn!
